Jersey Arms MACs

These MAC 10 submachine gun clones dubbed as the "Commando Series, Avenger Model" were produced during 1982. Most of the Jersey Arms MACs were produced in .45 caliber, but there were a few reported to be made in 9mm Parabellum. The guns were manufactured under contract by Hatton Industries of Indian Mills, NJ for the Jersey Arms Works in Wesmont, New Jersey. The "New Jersey MAC" as they are commonly known, are quite similar in construction and design to the original Military Armament Corporation, RPB Industries, Inc. and SWD Inc. MAC 10 guns. One exception is a more comfortable fixed butt plate on the stock that is of a slightly different design than seen on the original MAC models. The right side of the receiver was marked "Manufactured Exclusively for Jersey Arms Works Inc, Westmont, NJ, United States of America. There were only 520 of the New Jersey MACs manufactured, and few were sold before the remainder were placed in storage. All of the remaining inventory were eventually purchased, refurbished and sold by SWD Incorporated of Georgia in 1987.
